This pamphlet, a piece of East German Communist propaganda on 22 pp., has to be seen in the context of Stalin's March 1952 notes proposing a unified and neutralized Germany. While West German Social Democrats were toying with the idea, the ruling conservative Christian Democrats under Adenauer rejected it outright. In 23 page pamphlet. Pages slightly browned; otherwise Fine. Adenauer's strategy for West Germany's integration into Western Europe ranked higher than the preservation of German unity. Using materials published by the West German SPD, the text attacks Adenauer and his government, while attempting to talk Social Democrats in the West into embracing the East German and Soviet (i.e. Communist) positions on "free and fair elections" for all Germany..
