Rather unique binding with a leather spine with gilt printing/decoration, but with boards made of metal (probably tin?). There is what looks like a copper border around regular boards that the tin binding plates were slipped into. The front plate is decorated and has the book title. Both metal binding plates have surface rubbing which has removed some of the color, mostly in the middle portions. There is some rubbing to the leather spine, with a small portion at the top spine end missing. All page edges are gilt. Clean and straight book. Lovely and unusual.; 4-7/8" x 3-1/2"; 192 pages.
