: New York & LondonNew York & London: Applause Books, 1998, . . , , Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. First Edition. Octavo--from 7?" to 9?" tall. Theatre criticism (not the "the seats are too small and what's that sticky stuff on the floor?" kind). A collection of essays and reviews first published in The New York Times from 1970 through 1997. Red cloth w/gilt spine lettering, 456 pages (including Acknowledgements, Index). Gently bumped spine ends, a hint of corner wear, tiny black mark to front free end paper (I believe it to be a bit of ink from the original price sticker which is affixed to the dust jacket's front flap and positioned exactly opposite), small crinkle to fore-edge of front free end paper, in rubbed dust jacket w/a 1/8" tear to top of front fold, jagged 1/4" tear to top left edge of front panel, two creases to front flap.
