Macmillan, NY, 1924. The author was Professor of Finance in Northwestern University. Hardcover, navy blue with gilt lettering on spine, 8 3/4 x 5 3/4, 792pp, in Near Fine condition, no DJ. Long and exhaustive analysis of various different kinds of bonds (I guess stocks were not considered investment securities in those days). Dedication is to the author's friend, Irving Fischer, who won the Nobel prize for economics a nd made a famous wrong prediction for the stock market in 1929.
