It is clean and tight with a slight spine slant; there is some wear to corners and spine edges; spine is one shade faded. It has decorated pastedowns, both front & rear. Previous owners' gift inscription is on the back of the front endpage. The dust jacket is price clipped, it is intact, illustrated with the same picture of Peter Freuchen that is on the facing page; it is pretty well worn around all edges with chipping and edge tears.
