Inscribed in a very florid hand on front FEP to Jacob H Karp Esq/ Resident Attorney/ Par amount Pictures Inc., and signed by the author 5/12/39. One gathers from the preface and the first few pages that the author was an admirer of PG Wodehouse -- to whom, sadly, he doesn't measure up -- as who can?
