Essays on various subjects by the Russian writer, painter, and mystic, Nicholas K Roerich (1874-1947), friend and associate of Diaghilev and Moussorgsky and Stravinsky. The cover is very reminiscent in style o f 1920s Russian typography (even though by this time the author was an exile from his mother country).
