Gift inscription reads "Dear Katherine - Here with a genuine author's copy of old Taylor, written a thousand years ago + recently reissued - Happy Birthday! Aff'y, Phoebe" Author also circled (in same pen) copyright date on cp. An Asey Mayo Mystery. DJ did it's job in protecting the book, but is well worn with chipping, tears, rubbing, and a small damp stain at base of spine. DJ price unclipped, but bottom corner of front flap is cut at a 45. (Perhaps manufactured this way?) Book is clean and bright with only slight corner wear to boards. No marks other than author's. Pages crisp and clean.
