The Apple Tree, by Penelope Mortimer. Screenplay or teleplay, typescript on white 11 x 8 1/2 paper, 133pp, three-hole punched, bound between pale blue paper covers. In VG condition, cover a bit worn. Penelope Mortimer, married for 20 years to John (Rumpole) Mortimer, won the Whitbread prize in 1979 for her autobiography. She also co-wrote the screenplay for Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965). She died i n 1999.
